What Will Your Ministry Be?
We’re all called to and created for ministry. We all have a mission field in our daily lives. And throughout the week, we practice some of that ministry together. Check out where we serve and where you might like to join us.
Adopt A Nursing Home
Christ the King Vineyard has adopted a nursing home that we are blessing with cards, baked goods, and activities to bring joy to residents who are isolated and staff who are under a great deal of pressure during the pandemic.
Serve the Poor & Marginalized
Saturdays, morning & afternoon
HeavenTrain is a brightly painted bus that acts as a “church on wheels” to serve children in Cleveland’s poorest neighborhood. Volunteers deliver food and share the Gospel one Saturday a month from May through December, either on a morning or afternoon shift.
Find Support & Recovery
Healing Together is a Christ-centered support group based on the 12 steps and pointed toward Jesus as the group’s Higher Power. All are welcome, whatever your addiction or struggle, whatever your faith and regardless of whether you have one right now. Every one of us needs healing, and none of us recovers alone. Let’s find it together.
Christ The King Vineyard Church is a host to a number of recovery groups. Please contact the church for more information.
Mothers of Preschoolers (M.O.P.S.)
2nd Mondays, 9:15-11:30am
Between September and May, moms come to enjoy breakfast, craft time, group discussion and new friends. Babysitting is provided in our nursery for younger children, and older kids can play, do crafts and more in our classrooms. All mothers and children are welcome!
Nurture Your Spirit & Growth
In spiritual direction we carve out a space where we can more attentively notice and nurture how Jesus is speaking and leading in your daily life. Appointments are typically one hour every month.
CTK has biblically and theologically trained spiritual directors on staff to meet with you through a period of discernment, journey with you through the next phase of your spiritual development, or even help you plan an individual spiritual retreat.
Retreats & Prayer Experiences
Retreats are simply a way for us to break from the ordinary to experience the God of our everyday life with a special attention and focus.
Every other winter, we facilitiate an off-site weekend retreat soaked in prayer and reflection.
Between biennial retreats, we host afternoon creative prayer experiences one Saturday each quarter to continue exploring new and deeper ways that we can relate to an extraordinary God in the midst of the ordinary.
Where Do I Start?
The best way to learn about our community and ministires is to come hang out with us. Here’s what you can expect when you visit.
How Do I Get Connected?
We’re excited to have you visit, and if you feel any leading to keep hanging out, we want you to be connected. Here’s what that looks like.
How Can I Join
a Small Group?
Church happens on more than Sundays. Being part of a community is about sharing life together, and we invite you to share life with us.
Beliefs are important because our convictions shape how we live. What we believe and how we live is ultimately determined by what we love.
