Heaven Train
Heaven Train is a brightly painted bus designed and equipped to reach children. This "church on wheels" visits the ten poorest neighborhoods in Cleveland, handing out food and sharing the gospel.

Heaven TrainFor 29 years Rev. Phil Batten and his team has been visiting the Cleveland housing projects and serving the people that live in these neighborhoods.

Christ the King volunteers join the Heaventrain team one Saturday a month from May through December. Volunteers can be on either the morning or afternoon team.

Morning teams leave the church no later than 9:30am and meet at the Burger King on Carnegie Ave. (I-90/Carnegie exit). From there the morning team will follow the bus to three of the project sites where volunteers entertain and love the 700+ children as they wait to board the bus, hear a bible teaching, and receive a meal.

The morning team will then head back to the Burger King around 1:30pm where they will meet the afternoon team.

The afternoon team will visit another three project sites, serving around 1,100 children, before returning to Burger King around 5:30pm.
